Pace of Play

​

Black Diamond Golf Club has been pace rated for 4 hours and 20 minutes. This is the required minimum pace for a foursome to complete 18 holes.  Groups falling out of position and behind pace will be issued a warning. Subsequently if the slow groups’ pace is not improved they will be either instructed to let groups play through or finish their round immediately. A pro-rated credit will be provided for the remaining holes not played. For the enjoyment of all players, pace of play must be adhered to.

Course Etiquette

​

For the enjoyment of all players playing behind you, golfers must be mindful of raking bunkers after play, replacing divots and repairing ball marks. Please place any garbage in the proper receptacles. Anyone caught littering during play will be removed immediately.

 

Black Diamond Dress Code

​

Black Diamond requests that all golfers dress in appropriate golf attire. Black Diamond Staff have the sole discretion to advise any golfer if their attire is unsuitable.  The following guidelines are recommended:

• Men should wear a collared shirt or mock neck shirts and tailored Bermuda length shorts or tailored pants.

• Ladies should wear a collared shirt or crew neck shirt, Bermuda length shorts/skirts/skorts or tailored pants.

• Cut-offs, track pants and tank tops are not recommended at Black Diamond.

• Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times. Golf shoes are recommended. Black Diamond is a soft spike facility.

 

Alcohol Policy

All alcohol must be purchased from the course hospitality stations or clubhouse. This policy adheres to all legislated liquor laws in Ontario and our liquor license. Unauthorized alcohol on the property will be confiscated. Personal coolers are not permitted. Black Diamond is within its Rights and Obligations to check bags that may be in violation of this policy.

Golf Carts

​

Please use the bag drop off area before and after your round. Golfers are responsible for any damages to golf carts. Golfers must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart.

Damages

Any damages (due to negligence) to Black Diamond property is the responsibility of the player.

 

Rain Check Policy:
 
The following is our raincheck policy at Black Diamond Golf Club.

“Rainout” is defined as course conditions that are unplayable, as determined by our Course Superintendent.   Should this occur while you are on the golf course, then the following policy is in place to properly compensate you, our guests.

Should the course be closed due to a rainout, thunder and lightning, then the following policy will also be implemented.

• If you play between 1-5 holes, you will be compensated for a full 18-hole raincheck.

• If you play between 6-13 holes, you will be compensated for a 9-hole raincheck.

• If you play past the 14th tee shot, then NO raincheck will be provided.

Drizzle or light rain is not considered in this guideline. The individual golfer should carry an umbrella to provide rain protection in the event of a scattered shower or thunderstorm.

Rain checks will NOT be issued simply because the golfer has become wet because of lack of rain protection.

 

Arrival Prior to Tee-Time

​

Groups are asked to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their tee-time. All golfers must register at Pro Shop upon arrival at the course. In order to shorten the registration process, it would be appreciated if you can forward by fax or e-mail the names of the other golfers in your group if you did not provide them at the time of booking.

 

Club Rentals

 

Rental Clubs can be arranged with the Pro Shop on the day of play. Rental Fee applies.

 

Rescheduling a Tee Time

 

You may reschedule your tee time with advance notice.  Depending on when you reschedule your tee time upgrade charges may apply.

 

Twosome Bookings

 

Twosomes will be paired with another twosome when possible.

 

Single Players

​

Single players may inquire about availability 24 hours in advance. Single players must be paired up with a twosome or threesome. Single players cannot play alone.
