Construction on this fine "Diamond In The Rough" facility began in the Fall of 2004 and it opened for play in May of 2005.  It was carved out of the deep woods of the Ganaraska Forest and the foothills of the Oak Ridges Moraine just 20 minutes south of Peterborough, Black Diamond Golf Club is "Truly A Cut Above".  While soaking in the surrounding vistas, golfers are welcomed to an incredible golf experience and spectacular views. Black Diamond Golf Club will continually excite and challenge you with its tree-lined rolling fairways, fescue, sculptured mounds, multiple elevation changes, emerald green water hazards, a double green, and more than 70 bunkers.

 

Designed by architect Jack Lally the project has produced a design that we are all very proud of and one that you will soon not forget.  He wanted it to look like nature or God Himself had a hand in the design.

With no less than 5 sets of tees to play from this 6886-yard layout, it's a great test for all skill levels.  Elevation changes mixed in with an assortment of strategic mounds, doglegs, elevated greens, and spectacular views will guarantee you never grow tired of playing The Diamond.
